Blender magazine!

[millerdog]

Anyone read this rag? I was cruising through the school bookstore today and picked up a copy. Way cool. They have sections for new releases and reissues. Subscription is only $8 so I think I'm on it.
On the cover is the White Stripes and they have features on the Rolling Stones!

Yup, read it all the time. Pretty good rag, looks like a kiddie mag but surprises you with great insightful writing and I dig the equal time for most types of music. This rag actually introduced me to one of my new fav groups, the Supersuckers.

millerdog, see if you can track down the issue with the Rock Goddess 50. OMG !!! There is a pic of J-Lo thats worth the subscription price alone !! I think its issue #14. Has Shakira on the cover.

I may be an old fart, but ...

*I* have a subscription to Blender.
(Gotta'dmit I don't know half or more of who they're reviewing.)
Hundreds of album reviews each month. They've been having a series of special lists the past several months. The 500 cd's you've gotta have before you die; the Rock Goddesses, etc.
