Waiting for Vintage Gear from this century
Thanks for the feedback. Since this was not a cheap item, the OP wanted to know if I had any feedback so I told him about AK and my sales only ebay feedback. That is why he only has this one post, he dropped in to check me out and later to post feedback. He found this item on another board when someone asked if there were any available and I answered. I never listed it for sale, but got a response about its availability from the OP from that one post.
This was a purchase that was eventually shipped to Ukraine. The buyer used Bosmix, a freight forwarding company in MA that handles purchases, receiving and forwarding of items from the US for shipment to the Eastern European countries.
This meant for me to be protected by paypal, the purchase must be shipped to the registered address. This is where Bosmix comes in. They purchased the unit and I sent it to them with the ultimate purchaser, dtpol listed as the recipient. Then Bosmix forwarded it to him in their regular shipments.
This process took some time, a couple/three weeks with the shipping and the arranging the Bosmix purchase for dtpol, but it went smoothly and we are both happy with the sale.
I had researched Bosmix when I found out where the unit was going to be shipped and found someone on a different forum concerned about the company without using them. There was limited other information about good transactions so I was careful to follow paypal guidelines for shipping this item, going to a registered address and getting a signed delivery confirmation.
In the end, all seems well with this transaction and I posted this to put good information about Bosmix out there.
