Bought this at a thrift a - Wireless Speaker! An IF section and amp, no wire besides power cord. Who knew? Must have been paired with a (stereo) console. An nice crappy driver for my orphan Knight cabinet....

The GE Porta-Fi system. The transmitter would have been in the console, coupled to the line cord as the antenna. It was basically a low power radio transmitter. No idea how well they worked but the speakers turn up from time to time.

Looks like its got a power transformer, so if nothing else it is a safe if not spectacular tube amp. Would be easy enough to unhook the tuner part and splice in an aux input and/or a bluetooth module so it worked in a more useful manner.
