Decided to put it back to stock with a very close tube matching . I got the 4 tubes within 4 mA of each other and put the 30 ohm balance pot back on the cathodes centered up. I think it sounds a little bit better now than it did with the four 10 ohm resistors in it. Thanks everyone for the input. There's something about 100 Watt's that just sounds better to me , I can't exactly put my finger on it but I know that it is there ! . Two of these may end up replacing The Fisher eventually ! , I will have to look around for another B model with the balance pot on the cathodes like this one. The amplifier sounds great and I certainly am not using it for a guitar amplifier, I will use it for a monoblock amplifier instead. I used a different brand of Coupling caps this time Called AD ? Not sure what the AD stands for , but the AD caps are nice sounding caps. I used one Green cap because I broke one being too rough with it and all the rest are AD brand. Amplified Parts is who I got the caps from Polypropylene is what it says that they are, I will definitely use the AD Polypropylene caps again next time. The caps are a little bit bigger than normal , maybe that is why they sound good ? . Every Bogan I have restored has amazed me with how quiet the idle is afterwards. I can't say that for other brands.
