Bose 1800 Series 1 manual & input sensitivity

Hi,

Don't suppose anyone has a copy of the service manual or a link for the Bose 1800/1801 series 1 please? The electronics-diy link has gone down.

Has anyone managed to bring the input sensitivity down to -10dbv consumer level? I've got Apex 124A convertors but would rather not use them if I don't need to.
