The Bose 302A and 251 are both outdoor speakers, the first is their "PRO marine grade"outdoor speaker with 70 / 100V transformer and the latter is their outdoor weatherproof speaker for normal 8 ohm amps.
Looking at their pictures and specs they seem nearly identical ? So is a 302A just a 251 with a transformer plugged in the back ?
I can't see the difference other than the heavier mounting bracket on the 302A.
According to the installation guide of the 302A they can be wired up to an 8ohm amp, as their impedance is 6.
