Bose 601 speaker grill fabric options

Cleaning up a set of Bose 601 speakers. Grill fabric has seen better days but not completely unusable. Any thoughts on fabric paint, source of replacement fabric? Cant really tell if these were originally black or dark brown.

What series are your 601's? Grill cloth changed from brown to tweedy to black, depending on the series. A Google search turned up several sources.
