Hey folks,
Short and simple - I picked up an old pair of Bose 901 VI speakers with accompanying equalizer from an old friend who hasn't touched them in decades. The speakers connect and work fine, but with this receiver I don't seem to have the correct Tape or Pre-Amp connections to work the equalizer into the circuit. All of the speakers are hooked up as the should be, and the front A/B is kind of nice to change and have a totally different audio flavor from the Bose as opposed to what my Yamaha speakers and sub put out. I really just want to be able to hook the Equalizer into the chain so that the Bose 901 VI pair can really shine to full potential.
Most modern receivers don't have tape monitor in/outs. I'm currently using a Yamaha RX-V363 which doesn't appear to have a PRE AMP OUT/MAIN AMP IN which the Bose manual also states as a connection option. Would this be able to somehow work with the MD/CDR In & Outs - see image below.

I've moved all sorts of wires around already and no matter what I try, the Equalizer's changes show zero affect in terms of sound quality, so I'm assuming that I missing something in the programming setup of the receiver, or this Yamaha RX-V363 is just flat out not compatible with the Bose Equalizer VI

Appreciate the insight.
Cheers
