Bose score?

Picked up a Bose acoustimass subwoofer for $4at GW. It was tucked away under a shelf. Im using it in my garage .

anything that works is a score for 4 bucks! Unless a gallon of gas gives you more pleasure than a subwoofer.

I opened it and was curious about the many auto light bulbs in the crossover..researched this and found out that it was a 212-2 bulb commonly available at most automotive store. I believe these bulbs act as fuses. I am using an Onkyo tx 2500mk 2. I hope thats ok and i am sorry to hear about your Marantz

I think it was a question of a really low impedance load, I was just flipping the thing and the quy wanted to hear it. Stuck it between the recevier and Minimus 7's and out came the magic smoke. Now get this: The guy boiught it and didn't even try to chew me down!
