Boston Acoustic A400 Surrounds Choice

I just picked up these A400's and have been looking at surrounds. I'm reading that the proper surrounds choice is important and buying the wrong ones could cause some unspecified problem.

I see there is a series I, II and III A400. Mine are marked A400L with a serial number 08319. Does someone know which series these are?

Here are my choices for surrounds, which would be the best choice?

And then there's a kit I read about from a guy named Cobb but I can't find a link.

First one is correct I think, always fillited regardless of series, but email Rick Cobb at rcobb@tampabay.rr.com (I think) for cheaper and good advice because it avoids eBay fees. Good luck with the refoam and maybe a recap if you go down that road.

Definitely replace the crossover capacitors while you refoam the woofers. Is it that big of a difference? YES.

I've pulled the mid and woofers, now my question is "How do I get to the crossover?"

Based on pictures, it looks to be next to the input terminal on back. If not, just see where the wires from it go.

I found the woofer crossover and it looks like the main crossover sits behind the Mid enclosure, but with a little thought (about all I have these days!) I just need to pull the tweeter and take a look...

I am waiting for my new capacitors. I will replace the woofer low frequency pass through filter caps when they get here from China. I could not find a USA seller but after ordering and paying for them I did find a UK seller that would get them here sooner IF I had purchased them from him.
