Boston Acoustics A150's - Detroit CL

Someone may want to get these (if they haven't already) for 25 bones...

Boston Acoustics A150's

I just picked up two pair of other speakers yesterday, so my quota is up for the weekend!

They were in my truck before you posted.
It will be nice to see how they compare to the A100s I''m using right now. Heck, I just got home and was looking for the threads here about them when I spotted this one.

BTW, they were garage sale leftovers. Plant ring water marks on the tops, but the foam looks good enough for some testing.

Huge congrat's, watermarks schmartermarks, that's a cool score:thmbsp:I've been lookin' for some cheap, then I found the little AR's and, I'm having too much fun with them I always sniff around CL though!

Yeah, I got real lucky with them; saw them as the first post 10 minutes after they were listed and was driving over by 8:30AM. I've got some Genesis cabs here with similar watermark issues so I can experiment on them before I mess with the A150s.
If they sound as nice as the other thread indicates, they'll be my new bedroom set.

Nice job! So let's see some better pics than the ones in the CL ad.

Were you the one who happened to score those Heresy's for $50 a few days ago?

:thmbsp:

Nope, didn't even see them, but I get blinded by all the TV, game and cell phone static...

Tested one today and while it sounded nice, my suspicions on the woogers were confirmed; these boys have a terminal case of Rat Shackus woogeritus.
Oh well, I've got the real deals in the A100s, so a simple swap will do the trick.
I knew they didn't look right, but for what I paid, I'm still quite happy.

Looks like the A/B test will be in mono though...
