Hello all,
I saw something on the Bottlehead website and I just want some clarification.
There is an upgrade to many of the Bottlehead kits that states:
"Upgrade from the standard black molded IEC power cord to the Bottlehead Power Cord Kit (for 120VAC mains only) and save $5 over the regular price $79.00"
No where that I have found on the Bottlehead site does it go into any detail about this power cord.
Keep in mind I am truly trying to understand here, not be a smart-ass. The question is, what makes something seemingly as simple and pedestrian as a power cord worth and extra $79? I understand that some materials are pretty exotic and can be costly. Is that what we are looking at here or is it mostly the Bottlehead name or a mixture of the two?
Thanks
