Bought a super Fisher 400 from fellow member

I was in a funk as a Fisher 500b that I searched a long time for, purchased off e-bay, arrived to me with some heavy damage. Discouraged but determined to continue my search I stumbled upon AK and it was suggested I advertise to buy a Fisher. Within a day I had 3 or 4 seller's contact me and I was very fortunate to be within driving distance to one who had a lot of great gear for sale, thanhdang63. We chatted via e-mail and then over the phone. We got together, listened to gear and enjoyed pleasant conversation. I am now the proud owner of a wonderful sounding, fully functioning, excellent cosmetics, Fisher 400, purchased for a more than fair price. Thank's very much to thanhdang63. :banana: I will be contacting him soon (once funds are available) to purchase more gear. I suggest anyone else looking for great vintage gear contact thanhdang63 also.

BTW, welcome to AK, it works like that a lot, around here.
 
Scthomas welcome to AK! Positive experiences like yours is the norm here on AKs Barter Town. Not to say all Ebay purchases are going to have a poor outcome with damaged items shipped by indifferent or inexperienced sellers. AK members have a much higher appreciation for audio equipment and tend to go the extra mile when selling/shipping. Another great feature is the middleman fees are eliminated other than a small one time donation to join Barter Town.
