Just bought one of these after messing about with little bear, little dot stuff.
It is probably the cheapest of the assembled EL34 single ended pentode (runs in ultralinear but easy to convert to triode mode)
Im running mine with standard tubes and it sounds superb
No hum, build looks really nice,
There are two inputs.
I have used one for my mp3 player running via my little bear P5 (sounds better than direct) and took a feed from the preamp out on my Onkyo A9050 integrated amp
That means I can run my bluray, cd player and turntable through it easily.
I also have the little Dot mk 2 and a cd player connected to one of the aux ins, so extra tubey goodness
It sounds smooth , mellow. Best at low to moderate volume - its no floor shaker.
The best description is, it makes my mp3`s cd`s and bluray audio sound like vinyl
Not high end by any means, but partnered with the right speakers its a lovely little thing.
