Once a Bozak lover, always a Bozak lover. They do have a very special live sound. Not the analytical studio sound most people want to day. They are of moderate efficiency, 94 db and can handle about 30 watts rms with 6 db peaks. They respond from just below 40 hz flat to 4.000 hz with a nice roll off to 12 khz disappearing around 17 Khz. They produce live unamplified sound as originally intended. They are known for lack of long term listening fatigue and they don't attack your ears with harsh sounds. There are some upgrades to make them even better in less than ideal environments. They love tubes as well as good SS. They don't like amps that are overly dry and irritable, though they control that kind of sound better than most speakers.
