Bozak B-4000 Speakers

I found a pair of Bozak B-4000s locally for sale, I haven't seen them yet, but the seller says he bought them new, and they are mint.

He mentioned they are horizontal, and not vertical B-4000s.... I can't find any info about the different configurations available, does anyone have any info?

Same as the stand-up model only with the base mounted on one long side. Base could be moved, but of course the cabinet is likely unfinished on the bottom.
One of the few things I have bought and experienced zero buyers remorse. After two years I still smile ever time I fire 'em up. They can run with practically any speaker ever made IMO. Go get them !!!!!!!

I have to agree with Rybeam on this one....They do everything right! Enjoy them and take em apart and update the crossovers....Be sure and post some pics when you get them as some of us haven't seen the Horizontal 4000's. I just had some good Karma recently and got my first set of Bozaks. I'm hooked and when I die they can bury me in them. :yes:

Hey Orian have you tried them with the tweeters to the middle ? That is how Rudy intended them, but of course there is no 100% right way.

Actually haven't played too much with placement. You know how much these weigh. (Not as easy to play with as bookshelfs) I have to large doorways that the speakers face and go out into large rooms. I have given it thought but haven't had the energy to move them around yet. So far the people that have heard them say they sound great like they are.

There was a nice article on the whole Bozak line, including the P-4005's you are looking at (horizontal Symphonies) in issue 18 of VTV, written by David Bardes. I have a scan of the article that I can email you if you send me your address to dadbar at aol dot com.
