Perfect Condition! Bozak B-4000A Modern Symphony Speakers. These are some of the nicest sounding speakers ever manufactured.

I am asking $600 each. I am located in Denver Colorado. Here is a section from a high end Audiophile Post:

I found a 1983 price list. The "4000A Symphony" in walnut veneer finish was priced at $1,999.00. The 310B Concert Grand in the same finish was $1,899.00

Under "Special Cabinet Designs - Special Order" are listed the 4000 Symphony in Classic at $1,299.00, Moorish at $1,399.00, and the 4005 (horizontal) at $1,199.00.
The Concert Grands in Classic and Moorish were priced at $1,999.00 and $2,099.00 respectively

If my pricing is way out of line please make an offer. They are in temperature controlled storage so it is difficult to photograph them right now but I can provided photos if you are very interested. The image below is very similar to mine.

I do not undertand the pricing he found online. No Symphony was more expensive than the CG. If both look like the one shown and the sides, etc. look as good they price is at a premium for the average going price buy several hundred dollars. I paid $800 for mine about a decade ago. However, all the drivers had bee replaced with NOS driver so mine are a pair of '68 cabinets with late series drivers. I'd suggest in the range of $400-700 depending on the year, condition and if the bi-amp version and if so, if the N-106 comes with them/

my feeling was about $300 for the pair, but I do not know these speakers well at all. And, I am a notoriuos cheap skate.

$300 for the pair would be steal. If someone offered me that for mine I'd be laughing as I threw him out of the house. That is less than the going rate for a set of Heresys. The Symphonys were Stereophile Class B in the 1st issues just below the Class A Concert Grands and KLH Nine. Even by today's standards they are right up there and owners very seldom let them go. Most on the market are from original owners or more likely their estates.

The much smaller 302s that have 1 woofer, midrange and 2 tweeters in a 5 cubic foot cabinet for for about that. The Symphonys have 11 drivers in each cabinet.

2 sets of McIntosh amps in the Arlington ad. Bet the Sympnonys there are bi-amped. They are nice looking.
