Bozak CMA-2-65 Amplifier

I am in the process of building a new audio system. I need 2-3 amplifiers in order to accomplish it. I have one amplifier already ready to go. I had another amplifier, but it seems it will need service. So, today I found an amplifier but to be honest, I have never heard of the brand. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or own a Bozak amplifier and if so, is it a good amplifier.

I wish I could find the service manual for it. It's really straight forward, very simple design. It has one plug in circuit board for serving.
 
65 watt x2 you have a gem there.
I would have grabbed it for sure, now I'm intrigued!
I know a guy in a vintage facebook forum that is a bozak genius. He said this
" Built like a brick, very comparable to what Crown was at the time. The Crown amps were vastly better sounding than that horrid Crown pre-amp the IC-150, though the complete rebuild IC-150A was better than the IC-150 by a fair margin. Any brand of amp that old probably needs new power supply capacitors, and maybe some audio path caps too. The insides are beautiful on the Bozak power amps."
 
I started rebuilding this amplifer last night and you are right, it's built well. Like I said, there really isn't much to it, but it's solid. I need to order those monster capacitors. I might get to set it up today, just to see if it works alright.

i have a few Mono amps from Bozak, CMA 1-120, I’ve only seen one single amp for sale in the past 2 decades, and there is no info to be found outside of a small mention in a recording magazine from back in the 70s. Im pretty sure Ive posted a pic or two of them here on AK a few years back.
 
Old thread, I know, but seems like a good place to find my answer. I have a Bozak CMA-2-65 amp. The red “Indicant” lamp next to the power button on the front is flashing. It flashed 4-5 times, about once/second then quit. Did it again a few minutes later, but no more since.

Any idea what this means?
