Bozak worth looking at...

They are very nice sounding speakers. 1800? Probably not. I paid 300 for mine. Definitely took two people to set them on that dresser.

We had an estate sale set here they were asking $850 for and settled for somewhere over $400. I viewed them twice and they were in excellent condition.

$1800 is way high

Yeah, I'd pay around $400 for a pair. We've had some different symphony pairs pop up now and then... always asking $900, $1200, or $1800. That's more than I can spend!

$1k probably wouldn't be out of line for an excellent pair of Symphonies, if someone were really looking for them. Bozak prices are all over the place.

I really like the 302a urban design, so if I ever upgraded to symphonies, it would have to be a similar cabinet.

These were $400 to a Chicago buyer a few weeks back and followed in this thread

Yep, very sweet MCM and probably sounded nice too.

I recently had a set of 302Bs though, and they weren't to my liking, so I just wanted to toss those up for the gang here.

FWIW, these looked pristine. Somebody is probably very happy with them now.

That's what gets me about the design, I think. They aren't 100% mcm - more like mcm meets art deco, or something that takes away from the minimalism that mcm was headed towards. When you look at the 302a, you see how sparingly the flair was used. It's a simple, sleek, yet rich design. So clean and pretty!

Just found this web site and registered since I have been a Bozak fanatic and owner since the 1950's. Still have two B-305's and trying to determine what they are worth. Not sure what to do with them since they are too large for the house but might put them in a large room over the garage.

OT: As I recall, Bozaks were in Air Force One during the Eisenhower administration but can't find any confirming reference.
