BP cap replace NP cap?

Is it safe to replace a NP 50v 1uf cap with a 50v 1uf BP cap? Thanks Kevin.

you can always replace polarized cap with non-polarized one ..
just remember that polarized caps usually have large capacitance per volume compared to non-polar caps, so it might be hard to find a non-polar cap with an equivalent value
