So now I've changed out the Wireworld speaker cables for something else, from Totem Audio(I mean Totem Acoustics). Again, it's an improvement with a little more presence in the highs. It's about 3 weeks after my last post, and the Adcom has settled in nicely. A tube pre really compliments it well.
I realized that it needs to warm up to reach optimum sound, and in the basement and with the easy load, wasn't warming up very quickly. So I now have a flat piece of cardboard laid on top and over the heat sinks as well, which makes the difference. I'll come up with something a little bit more sophisticated than cardboard on the weekend.
