Braun R1 Receiver: Anyone do a 220V to 110V conversion?

Hi folks, I'm thinking of buying a Braun R1 220 volt receiver. Anyone out there who has done an internal conversion to 110. I read on the Web, that one particular Braun receiver model just required a fuse reconfiguration to accomplish this. I'm hoping that might be the case with this one, as well. Any info appreciated
