I have been fortunate to buy a really nice example of a Denon DP-62L turntable that is a pretty nice value compared to what I have to pay to get similar performance today. I have a buddy who restored a Denon DP-42F, including work on the electronics and getting the motor rewound. I was impressed. A little overkill for this turntable, but we learned sources for restoring these jewels. I am now looking for a DP-59L with all the parts with plans to do a full restoration. Anyone with similar ideas, successes and/or experiences?

I've brought a few turntables back to life by replacing the electrolytic capacitors in them. There weren't strictly dead, rather they would not hold a constant speed no matter how much I cleaned the trimmers and speed control pots and selector switches.
