Afternoon. I've got a problem. I have a nice pair of B&W 620's and the coil on one of the woofers is broken. I can actually see the broken wire on the coil, so I'm sure that is the problem!
Now I want to keep these but I'm running into a lot of walls. First wall, B&W doesn't make a replacement anymore. Second wall, no replacements available on eBay. Third wall, no known shop in Denver to get it repaired. So....
Do I part out the speakers?
I do a lot of refoaming. Should I try the repair myself?
Does anyone out there have a spare woofer?
Can anyone recommend another pair of woofers that I could use?
I look forward to hearing from you all.
