Broken D Shaft knob for Speaker selector

First post. Anyone know where I can get replacement simple knobs for Audioplex knob?

Do you have the missing piece? If so, super glue it back in and flood the rest of the knob with epoxy.

Your local hardware store may surprise you by having something very similar as well.

I've done this. I glued the peice in place and pushed a small chunk of foam around the broken peice to keep it in place to.l try and make sure it fits the shaft snugly after the glue dries. Then I filled it with epoxy. I've used larger alligator clips.to hold the peice in place while drying also.

Sometimes it helps to use a spring tubing clamp if the interior stem is big enough for it to fit.

I've slipped shrink tubing or them after gluing too if the neck is long enough. Heat it to shrink and cut off later if needed.

Most "D" knobs have a metal insert with a tension spring to prevent slop in the knob. Don't see one in your yours. Do the other knobs have an insert? Antique electronic supply stocks a wide variety of replacement knobs if you can't find a good solution.
