Discovered that the auto-functions on my Dual 1019 are not working due to a broken metal tab on the platter. Looking to see if anyone else has encountered this problem and found a solid fix for it.
I have tried super gluing a piece of a large staple to it but it fell off after two spins. I assume the glue was insufficient and the staple was both too thick and unsupported.
First picture is the 1019 platter and the following two are from a functioning 1214 platter.
