Hi,
A fellow AK member over this way got in touch re a broken AU517 (same for 417, 519, 717, 719) selector shaft bush. I couldn't help him with a spare, but I thought why not 3D print one.
I removed one from one of one for my 717's and created a 2D drawing. and then was able to arrange to have it drawn up in 3D and then printed. Below is the initial result, the 3D model needs some minor tweaking and a final bush will be printed. Below are a couple of pics showing the original bush and the printed version. The material used is ABS, which will work fine in this application.

Pretty happy with the way this initial unit turned out, and the tweaked version will be even better.
Cheers
John
