Broken wire C28

I was in the process of replacing a blown lamp near the mode sector switch. Upon lifting the top panel I noticed a white w/blue trace wire not connected. Looks like(assuming) it came off the compensation switch some where.
I don't see any broken wires on the terminal strips on the back of the switch.
Please see the attached photos
S/N is 82X34

Thanks and have a FUN day

Sorry about the picture quality, but here is a photo of where that wire goes. as you look straight down, it goes on the pin on the circuit board below the control nest to the green/white wire.P1010005.JPG

In the first pic chevyone posted you can see the wire is missing from the connector next to the green/white wire. The pic I posted is from my C28. That is the back of the right channel bass control.

Perfect! That is a really short wire to reach that post. But it worked and I appreciate your input. Now I can get this back together.. Bought this back on 6/4/74. Runs everyday moved 6 times around the country and still matches the original specs. First time to replace the lamps!
Again thank you and a FUN day!

I’d try to move the tie wrap back a little to give the wire a little more length to the post. Just be careful not to break any more wires. Couldn’t hurt and it might help.

Thanks, I had to do that in order to reach the pin and have the "plate" open to access the area. I can't image building this in the factory and the sequences required!
