Bryston 3B -- which version is best?

I have an original version Bryston 3B that I purchased used a while back, and I'm considering doing a full recap because of its age (made in the late 70s, I think). I've read here and there that the later "ST" and "SST" versions are better than the original. Does anyone here have any insight into whether or not that is true? If so, I'm wondering if it would be worth recapping this old version of the 3B, or instead hunt for a used updated version ("ST" or "SST") and sell the old one.

I used to sell the earlier Brystons and was not crazy about the 3B. I now have a 3B-ST and it is a superb amp. I am told the later ones are even better. It all depends on how much you want to spend but I think the ST are the best bang for the buck used. Often they sell for not much more than an original or NRB series and much less than the SST ones. You should still have quite a bit of warranty left on an ST also.
