BSR Model 402 Speakers

I ran across these BSR Model 402's today. I didn't know BSR made speakers. They are little bookshelf sized (little larger than Minimus 7's). They're pretty heavy and look to be well made. I believe these are indoor/outdoor use. For $8 I figured I give them a listen.

I've never seen those before, but there's a decent chance that they were sold by DAK way back when.

So I hooked on them up tonight and they sound way better than my Minimus 7's. They go pretty loud without distortion. The cabs are some kind of heavy resin or something. The metal grills are easy to remove but they probably rattle a little because these little things can pump out sound. I saw BSR on them and figured they where cheap like the turntables but that's not the case.
