Bugle boy 12ax7 long or short plate???

Hello! I have an Amperex bugle boy 12AX7 with a date code of 58-18 and stamped 18A. Says made in in Holland. The plates are ribbed. It is on the bay right now. Someone is asking if it is a Heeland longplate. How do I tell? From what I can gather the shortplate is 14mm and the longplate is 17mm. That difference seems hard to measure outside the tube. Any guidance/education greatly appreciated. Robert

Yes, I was shocked to find it. Part of the "best of" stash of a radio repairman who died in the area. Still can't figure out 15mm or 17mm. I am easily confused! Robert
