Building a Wood Case for Sansui 2000A

Hello,
This is my first post on AK!

I am giving away my Sansui 2000A to a friend and I am wondering if anyone has built a case for a 2000A. This was my first unit and I loved it so much, it's time that it goes to someone else. It looks really good as is, but I think the wood would make it a million times nicer.

I could be into buying one as well, but I can't seem to find them online. Any tips on how to's would be great.

Thanks!

Welcome to the AK forums.

Good for you to pass the karma forward.

Post your location, someone local might be able to help.

What's wrong with the old case? If it can't be refinished, you can put new wood veneer on it.

I get the feeling he doesn't have a wrap for it and is inquiring about how to make one.

Thanks for the replies guys! I live in San Francisco, California.

Maybe I wasn't clear on my last post, but basically I would like to build less of a case and more of a cabinet like this one:

I would like to make it myself but I am wondering if anyone had made one and had any tips!

Thanks again.
