Building on a budget....

Yeah the LX-300 is a great budget speaker IMO.
It's just the LX-22 with the newer 027ti tweeter vs. the 026ti tweeter.

I dont have any personal experience with the Sansui A-3100 integrated specifically.
Though I am a fan of the brand (Sansui) so that would work for me as well.
It should also have plenty UMMPPHH too,those JBL will love the 100wpc x 2.

I power the LX-22 in my BR 2.1 system with an Adcom GFA-545 so dont sweat putting some power to those JBL's.

I'd bet a rig like that would provide many many hours of listening pleasure.
Add a nice subwoofer (or two) and It'll really blow your socks off !!!

It's taken a bit, but I've picked up a Nikko NA-590 amplifier. Seemed to have pretty good reception from what I saw, and 50 bucks seemed like a solid deal. Next step is some decent speakers.

I'll be looking to see what I can find, but speakers seem much more plentiful than amps online, so hopefully shouldn't be too bad a hunt. Also working with a Rolls VP29 pre amp. I'll be sure to A/B test it vs. the Nikko, though I don't expect anything special from the Nikko's phono section.
