Bulb replacement, reciever, Pioneer SX-434

Has anyone replaced the "Stereo" FM indicator bulb and the Dial Pointer bulb in a Pioneer SX-434 receiver? How did you go about it?

Also, looking for a service manual in .pdf format for this unit if anyone has it.

The database has a 434 schematic, but no manual.

The stereo lamp is an 6V 30ma 4mm bulb, AK'r dgwojo can set you up with them....


If you can't find one, use an 8v 50ma lamp, and change the resistor R8 from 220 ohms to 150 ohms if it is too dim. That is the more common circuit in later models. It shouldn't be pulling that much current with the resistor.
