Burwen Research DNF 1201A fuse

I picked up one of these recently, but I haven’t been able to test it because it’s missing the fuse on the back. And the fuse that it calls for seems to be a very odd size. It’s labeled 1/16A 125V or 1/32A 250V slo-blo (with a switchable power supply option for US/European voltages.) They also don’t seem that easy to come by, except online in packs of multiples, and I’m not sure whether or not they’re the right ones and they’re also not cheap (don’t really feel like spending $20 just to be able to test it and for something I’ll likely never need again). Would someone suggest a substitute or help me understand what’s needed? The smallest time delay fuses available locally are, I think, 500mA in the standard ~1/4”x1” package size. Thanks in advance.

If your voltage is 120, you could also use 1/16A 250V fuses. You may find they are more common in 250V than 125V. As long as you stay with 1/16A the overcurrent protection is the same.

Thanks, and again, “common” seems to be the issue. Apparently not widely available online and usually in quantities or at individual prices that aren’t exactly enticing. I have a week to decide (store return policy) if I want to keep this (don’t even know yet if it’s operational), and waiting several days and potentially wasting $15 on fuses I’ll never need again is driving the decision. Was expecting a local hardware store option when I bought it—didn’t realize how offbeat these fuses are.
