But What About A Marantz 250M ??

I just now ran across a Marantz 250M amplifier with wood cabinet in extra super very very nice condition..Asking price is 1250.00 and that's why I'm posting this. If I'm wealthy and money isn't a obsession with me then I don't need to ask this question. But I do love collector type vintage gear and this 250M is one of those finds you rarely if ever see in this condition but no matter..If this amp comes to my house, it earns it's keep. Even though I'm as obsessive as anybody when it comes to cosmetics I still enjoy listening to what this high end stuff can do.So is the 250M, made in USA, Marantz worth the 1250.00 if considering it's sound quality

Cosmetics is important when considering gear and prices.
Is this completely (partially?) restored?
Buying from an individual or store with some warranty.
Only you can determine whether its worthy sonically to you. However, if it's all original and unrestored, it more than likely going to need some service to operate in spec and or maintain long term reliability.
