how can he scam you if you are picking the speakers at his place? i rather do business in people house than meeting the out on the streets. That's why i always carry my 1911 with me
 
every area has one like this, i know one. not sure if i can say his ebay name or not... hes got tons of negatives and ebay banned him. also, on the local side of it i continuously witness him wasting other peoples time, while we're standing in line at the goodwill waiting for it to open and he'll be on the phone with a potential buyer saying he'll meet up with them in a few minutes, telling him to meet him up the road from where he presently is... 2 hours later hes still in the store but ignoring thephone calls.

you go to the wrong goodwill then :)

edit: ill leave you more than just that teaser, i go to a warehouse goodwill, in the west they call them outlets i think, anyway, a great deal of it is sold by weight, some things have prices, like receivers you can expect to pay anywhere from 5 to 20 bucks, i bought a pioneer car stereo today for 3, so far every turntable and cassette deck ive bought have been $5, i picked up a nakamichi yesterday. bx-2, it plays but the belt for ff/rw is rotted. technics sl-1600 the other day, also $5. anyway, they routinely bring stuff out throughout the day, and do 'change outs' where things get changed out enmasse while we wait. you could easily spend your entire day up there. and during tax season people are making donations, its not like this all year round but every year at this time you have above average chances of finding something. ...i may be saying too much :)

edit edit: oh and if you like modern bpc you can buy some every single day of the week. i saw a sony dts receiver in a bin this morning. i think the volume knob had been pulled off but otherwise it looked intact. i pass on this sort of stuff tho, only buying their remotes when they show up.

If there's anything worth a crap in any of our GW's it's definitely NOT making it to the outlet.
 
Lots of stores send the "broken crap" to the outlet. For the cost of a belt or a jumper you can get really good gear for peanuts. It doesn't sit long, though.

Now thats funny, I thought I was the only one in Fl that carries a 1911 to a CL sale....

Hey, I do go to the outlet center, and I have a fun time when I'm there, but I'm only looking for certain stuff, so I lay back while everyone paws thru and throws stuff looking for some special doohickey!

Now I admit, I pulled my Fisher 500TX out of a bin, and then spent some serious dollars restoring it. Now the regular stores generally don't have what I want, so I breeze thru those!
