Buzzy Audio - All Volumes

I picked up a Sansui QR-1500 a few days ago. All is in working order but I hear a distortion and maybe even a little clipping in the audio (all input sources). It's just not a completely clear sound. Tried different speakers, same thing. Cleaned/Deox'd all pots. Still there. For those of you with a lot more experience than I, what would you check for next to eliminate the noise?
