That's the one. He is retiring because, as he said, his wife is already retired and he doesn't want to keep having to drag out the whole record store thing.

there does seem to be a lot of AKers in seattle,does anyone know if there has ever been any sort of "ak fest" here in seattle, a gathering of the geeks if you will. sounds like fun

also...every spring for the 3 years there is a great AK get-together, hosted by AK member Tarior, at a church reception hall in Kelso, WA - a couple hours drive to the south and closer to Portland. I bet he will organize another spring get-together next year.
