I've waited for more than six months to post this feedback. The last transaction with byoungman1 is described below. Never thought I'd see the day this would happen because have bought tubes from him many times in the past over the last decade with good results. Now he just ignores me and any offer I make to him in Bartertown. Here are the facts on our last BT transaction.
May 11, 2024 - agreed to buy some Amperex 6922 tubes from Bryce.
May 12, 2024 - put a personal check in the mail because he would not accept PayPal and claimed he had closed his PayPal account.
May 31, 2024 - Bryce reported he had received the check. I previously offered to pay via a different method and he could just tear the check up if ever received.
June 7, 2024 - ask Bryce for a tracking #. He replies he has not yet shipped the tubes.
June 11, 2024 - tubes are finally shipped and tracking # communicated.
June 21, 2024 - no tubes received. Send a test $1 payment to Bryce via PayPal. The transaction goes through. PayPal account has not been closed. Let him know that and he just ignores me. Never offers to refund the $1 test payment.
June 26, 2024 - tubes finally arrive via USPS.
During this 1.5 month wait, I repeatedly ask for Bryce to refund my money on the transaction and tell him I'll send funds if the tubes are ever received. These communications were ignored. He accepts no payment method that offers any buyer protection. Buy at your own risk.
Summary: I sent payment in 1 day via the seller's requested method. 1.5 months later tubes were received. It took the seller a month to ship them.
