C-30 Anyone have experience with this pre?

Does anyone have any experience with the C-30 Preamp? I know it came after the C-32 and has noticeably lower hum, noise and distortion. I see that it also has better distortion figures than the 33 or 34V and seems to be a 34V without the compander/expander and monitor amp. Oddly it does have a headphone amp and a separate volume control for the headphone jacks. Any comments are greatly appreciated.

I had one for a couple of years and loved it. The only thing I didn't like about it was the lack of a remote. I sold it (to another AKer, as it turns out) and purchased a C712.

I can only compare it to the C712, and honestly both are fantastic in my opinion. The C30 had tone controls and a few extra switched audio outputs - nice features which the C712 does not have. I also miss the stepped volume control on the C30. It had a nice feel (the C712 is not stepped).

I used the C30 with an MC2100, MC2505, and Dynaco ST70. It worked well with all of them.
