c2200 and pass-thru

hi

Anybody can explain how Pass-Thru on c2200 works? I have Meridian processor, have switched ON pass-thru mode in c2200 setup for correct input, but volume control is still active.

What is McIntosh pass-thru connection? simple continuous 5V?
Meridian has 12V trigger outputs.

What would be unity gain on c2200, if there is something like that.

p.s. My surround speakers are digital Meridian in-walls, so i will not switch to any other processor.

The 12V trigger should be fine to trigger the passthru on the C2200. If the volume control on the 2200 works you are not in passthru mode. Make sure the output trigger plugs into the passthru trigger on the back of the 2200.
