C28 lights and front face plate

My McIntosh c28 has a couple burned out lights on the face plate. They had been working when I bought the pre from an estate sale, but after detoxing all the pots a couple went out. I heard this is normal? I want to replace the bulbs but I want a little help in doing so because the glass panel is fragile (and expensive!). Anybody have experience with this and can guide me through?

Pull off the knobs. Remove the bottom and loosen the 2 screws holding the partial top (with all the trim adjustments)

Remove the 2 screws on each side nearest the front and slide the whole glass/bevel assembly carefully off the shafts.

Lots of 1866 lamps, I think a few 1847s also; trick for the push button lights ....I use a add on pencil eraser to push and twist.
