IIRC the originals should be 33Ω - 3 x 100Ω does it - maybe the intrepid restorer just didn't have any 33Ω.

@Drayton mon , I should make clear that my comment was targeted more at the 'elegance' of how the restorer did the job than whether it made the unit functional. Were it mine, I would change the resistor 'mess', but I would be doing that work myself and that largely because it offends my sense of correctness.
Should you go to the expense of having those resistor groups and original caps swapped out? Purely a judgement call for you and hopefully others will weigh in with their advice.

The board, marked SANSUI F-2992 A, in the “restored” unit, appears to have spaces where there are Black Flag caps in the same board, in the JDM “unrestored” item. See photos
For some reason, there are also some extra white wires in the JDM unit, unless they are missing from the (multi-voltage) “restored” unit?

As there are several differences between the two versions (most notably the Power Board), might I ask, where might one find a Service Manual, for the JDM version?
I got mine from 'HiFi Engine' but last time I saw anything about HFE, getting a login is difficult, so you won't be able to download the one they have. I need to check if AK has a copy in their database - I'll check this now.... - no, not there - not even the BA-F1 either !

It seems that the schematic is the same - with some minor component value differences, which are noted as "Japan Model only" etc, and of course the layout differences on the power board itself. I am not aware of 2 versions of the SM - this would be very unusual for Sansui.
