Cabinet vent mesh

Anyone have a line on where to get the proper looking vent mesh material for Fisher, Scott, or other brand tube equipment? I think the Fisher gear had a anodized gold type of finish, but not sure what was standard on different brands.

When i had access to Cad, and a cnc plasma cutter i designed and cut one in less time than it took the paint to dry.
I used 16 gauge cold rolled steel, sanded the slag with a belt sander, and painted it.

I've used perforated steel from letter baskets used in offices. The newer ones are mostly a mesh now though. We used to have a steal supply yard nearby. That was handy. They would sheer any size perf. steel you wanted.
I found perforated steel sheets on Amazon also. Heck, Ebay sells lots of the stuff, even with different shapes holes.

Home Depot and other box and online hardware stores sell radiator screening under the name M-D Building Products. It's perforated brass or aluminum sheeting in "clover-leaf," "Union Jack" and other patterns just like the original stuff found on receiver covers. Just cut it to fit with metal shears.

image.jpg I found mine at Ace Hardware. They had several versions from which to choose. Like Zackthedog says simply cut to size with metal shears. I used epoxy to affix my screens to the cabinet.
