The tool kit I bought for Anatomy Lab is perfect for electronics repair. The scalpel, fine pointed narrow long tweezers, angled tweezers, angled pointed probe, straight pointed probe, and forceps all make tight spaces and precision work a breeze. These kits can be had for about $15.
I use these tools as often as my extra long phillips #1 & 2 and mini screwdrivers. Also use my soldering station with a Weller WM120 or SPG40 iron, a blower/shop vac, Deoxit D5 and D100L, lacquer thinner, vinegar, small and large magnifying glasses, and eyeshadow applicators swabs. On the exterior I use Liquid Gold with microfiber cloth and Meguiar's Ultimate Compound only if needed. Rubbers can be reconditioned with water based body lotion containing glycerin. Rubbers can be repaired with fabric glue. If it's a roller clean with smallest amount of 70% isopropyl possible afterwards to clean tape contact surface of oils. I won't use Rubber Renue on anything but belts. Last thing I can think of I use is Plastifix for broken/missing plastic tabs and pieces.
