I have a set of Bob Heil's Pro Set Elite communications headset I use with my hamradio gear a fantastic headset but not designed for music. Bob Heil ( K9EID) has come out with headphones for music studio work. I don't know what they sound like except to say they where designed, tested, and are used by Joe Walsh (WB6ACU) late of James Gang. Like all of Bob Heil's stuff everything on these headphones is replaceable.

Now these headphones sound like they have a lot of research going into them by people who care...I wanta hear em.
 
Bob Heil is a Legend in the Audio world. His broadcast, and recording studio microphones are a industry standard. Bob himself is a master organist. Unlike so many headphones with an artist's name associated with them The Pro Set 3 headphone where designed, by Joe Walsh, built for him by Bob Heil and he actually uses them in the studio. My Heil Pro Set Elite communications headsets are fantasically comfortable for hour, after hour, after hour of work when on the air while on HF. The Sound Blaster Omegas I have come close, but.....:D

Rush Limbugh always talks about the Golden EIB Microphone what he doesn't tell you it is a Gold Plated Heil PR-40 Broadcast Microphone.:yes:
