i have a chance to get a cambridge audio azur 840c cd player for about the same price as a new azur 740c cd player. the 840 is 2 yrs old. would i be better getting the new 740c or the used (mint condition) 840c. is the 840c much better than the 740c. input please. thanx brad

Though the 840 is a better player the guarantee gives you peace of mind for two years...I have the 840 and have had factory repairs done. The service center is great though and its in Canada. They kept the repair at a minimal amount but the initial shipping wasn't cheap or fast...
