Cambridge Sound Works M60 Help Needed (please).

One woofer started rubbing but I have not been able to find a replacement.

Their major diameter is 6&3/4 inch, rubber surround synthetic cone with a large shielded magnet.
The markings n the back; p13-1040 040507
I have no idea who makes them.
My next move and something I rather not do is to find two woofers for the vented enclosure which measure 13&1/2" X 8&1/2" X 9"
and hope the existing crossover likes them or design new ones.

Any help on the above including possible replacement woofer choices, computer programs to extract the T-S parameters from the existing one woofer etc. will be greatly appreciated .

Note that I've been away from speaker design for several decades

Try contacting Cambridge. I know when Henry Kloss worked there they were very helpful. Maybe they still are.

Those are the outside dims of the box, right? Assuming the box is somewhere between 10 & 12 litres then.

Measure the woofer voice coil resistance with a MM. Need to know the approximate vent dims, ID and length.

Box dims are outside. The wood is 1 inch thick.

Cambridge Sound Works is long gone. They got bought by Creative and basically shut down.

After several hours of work/research. I ended up replacing both woofers with $7.00 4 ohm units from parts express.

They lost some base but they play. They now live happily in my son's shop.
