Cambridge Soundworks Tower I in Oakland, CA

CS towers are one the relatively unknown bargains, great sounding speakers.
Top of the line Henry Kloss designed.
I don't know what is next to those speakers but it makes them look very short. Maybe tower threes.
I love the tower ones, $250 for them would be a good deal, if they are tower twos not so great a deal but not bad, if they are tower threes, too much.

No Affil.

If these were anywhere on the east coast, they would be mine. Having bought their original Ensemble set in 1989 and hearing how great they were, I always wanted a set of these. At their release, the reviews were excellent. For the price, I think these are quite a good bang for the buck.
I'm Brian and I just picked up a pair of CSW Towers Friday off my local CL. I was blown away with how well they were taken care of and what great condition they're in. I'm really surprised and pleasantly pleased with the sound. If you'd like to talk more, I'm at keeferdog@hotmail.com. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks for the heads up...

Picked up a pair of Tower I in South Lyon, MI yesterday that look like they came out of a time capsule. Paid $400 for both towers, a BassCube15 and the CSW center channel. The BassCube15 needs new filter capacitors because it hums. Anyhow, these bipolar speakers sound great!
So relaxed and not fatiguing whatsoever to listen to. I spent the morning and better part of the afternoon today listening. I'm extremely happy with them and that's all that matters! Seems like the only bipole towers I see for sale are Def Tech, and I'm not a fan of any towers with amp plate subs built-in. For obvious reasons like amps puking.

They have to be kind of rare or they didn't sell very many because I cannot find hardly anything online other than this very old thread I'm typing this message in.

We like KLH, we like AR, so I guess it was no surprise to love these CSW. Had no idea Henry Kloss also founded Advent until I came across a magazine ad from the 90's. What excellent smooth sounding speakers. Soundstage is massive, larger soundstage than our dipoles. Very impressive.
